☁ Cloud - Sabathia - Eight runs in 4 1/3 innings.
Game thoughts!
A very good start by Josh, the only reason he came out of this game was due to Terry deciding to get the bull pen some work. He was not overworked as he only threw the 80 pitches in his six innings.
So many things went right in this game it is hard to decide on where to start. Should it be the 10 for 10 on base for Papi and MBM? The way that the Sox chased the "ace" of the Cleveland team in the fifth? The fact that every starter got at least one hit? See, a lot went right here. What started off as a nervous night when Hafner hit his two out home run, quickly became a laugher as the Sox responded in the bottom of the first with four straight line drives (Pedroia being the only out on a scorcher up the middle in which C.C. caught in self defense) that led to the tying score, followed by the four run third and the three run fifth.
What we need are more games just like this one this post season!!!
♊ - Morbid and creepifing I can handle as long as we do it quiet like.
