☼ Sun - Wakefield - 8 innings of two hit ball
☁ Cloud - This type of game there really isn't one. Good well pitched game on both sides
Game thoughts!
Tim Wakefield owns the Rays and he proved it last night. Two hits and two walks were all that he allowed in his eight innings of pitching. The first Devil Ray hit came in the seventh. Loved it, Loved it and Loved it.Papi delivered the only run that Wake would need in the first with a double that was crushed to center field and barely missed clearing the wall. Lugo, even though he had to wait to see if it would be caught, was able to score from first because that ball was hit so hard.
The only thing that really bothers me is the RISP problem. Last night 2 for 10. However, they did only leave four men on base.
Lugo watch - 3 for 4 - up to .238
Coco watch - DNPMD
Drew watch - 0 for 3 - down to .262 (however his walk in the eight put Manny in scoring position).
♊ - all else fails get a bigger hammer.
