.176 batting average? should we panic?

So, 4 games into the season and the team has a .227 BA, .309 OBP, .326 SLG and .634 OPS. If you take out Pedroia (.385), Drew (.357) and Ramirez (.286) the team average drops to .176.
The other 8 guys only Lowell(.250) and Lugo (.267) are over the mendoza line.

This team needs to start hitting and now would be the best time for that.

Meanwhile in the Bronx - the Orioles blow another one (3 run HR by Giambi in 8th) as A - Rod hits a grand salami in the 9th to win 10 - 7. I hate the Orioles!

I've learned to be very very patient in my years as a sox fan. That said, I'm pretty impatient and would like to see some big hits today.

Not really in a panic, but after an anemic spring you wonder how long the batting doldrums are going to last.
